2015 Girls District Soccer Assignment

August 9, 2015 by Karen Donaldson

Last year Continental Varsity Girls went to the Celina Division III District where they were taken down by Ottawa-Glandorf 6-2 in a District Semi-final game. The Titans ended the season as State Runners-up and will move up to Division II for 2015.

For the 2015 tournament season the trail will be somewhat closer as the Pirates are assigned to the Ottoville Division III District. This District features the Putnam County League teams (Fort Jennings, Miller City, Ottoville, and Kalida), and Northwest Conference foes Allen East, Crestview, Delphos Jefferson, Lincolnview, and Paulding. Coldwater, Delphos St. Johns and Lima Central Catholic round out the field. This is Paulding’s first year fielding a Girls soccer team. Allen East and Paulding are new to the sectional that the Pirates are assigned.

The first two rounds of tournament action will be held at the higher seeded site with 3 teams getting a first round bye.
