On Monday Continental traveled Kalida for Putnam County League Girls Soccer action. Both teams entered with PCL title hopes going into the game, it was Kalida that still has those hopes and sits at the top of the PCL with 1 game to play. The Wildcats emerged as the winner in the hard fought game 3-2.
Continental goals were scored by Maya Bishop and Kayden Centers. Marissia Becher was in the goal for the Pirates stopping 11 shots.
Continental falls to 6-7-2 (2-2-1 PCL). Kalida improves to 7-7-2 (3-0-1 PCL). Kalida will face Columbus Grove (3-1) on Thursday to decide the PCL crown.
Continental has completed the regular season and will travel to Ottawa Hills next Tuesday in a OHSAA Division III Evergreen District Sectional Semifinal game.
