As the Volley Pirate season heads toward tournament time, lets take some time to meet the 2014 Volley Pirates. The Varsity Pirates are young, lead by sole senior Gabby Young. Juniors doing Varsity duty this year are Lexi Doster, Ashley Kindilen, Lindsay Kindilen, and Kayla Troyer. A pair of Sophomores, Liv Homier and Briley Collier and four freshmen, Leah Baker, Sydney Eickholt, Amber Logan, and Hannah Troyer round out the team. All the upperclassman are returning players. Last year the Pirates were 2-18.
This year the Pirates are coached by Allison Streicher. Allison, a Continental alum, played college volleyball at Bluffton University.
Additional players rounding out the Junior Varsity team are Junior Gibby Ridgeway and Keagan Grime, Sophomore Kait Stahl, and freshman Kaitlyn Alvarado, Andrea Snow, and Amber Hale. The Junior Varsity team is coached by Jordan Streicher.
