The Continental Lions Club is bringing back their annual Fishing Derby! For 44 years, anglers tried their luck at the pond on the south edge of Continental until it ended in 2010. Bring the family on Sunday, July 16th for fun, food, prizes, and, of course, fishing! Anglers can set up after 6am on the 16th, the derby will start at 1pm. There are over $5000 in give-aways and prizes!
If you would like to help the Lions Club get ready for the big day, a pond clean-up time has been set for Saturday, July 8 at 9am. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
