The Continental Lady Pirates went on a 23-0 scoring streak midway through the second quarter on Tuesday night to beat the Defiance Bulldogs, 58-37. Continental trailed by one, 15-16 at the end of the first quarter but then jumped out to a 29-18 lead at the half. The Pirates had a 48-24 lead at the end of the third quarter mark. Four players scored in double figures: P. Kindilien 15, Ordway 14, S. Zachrich 12, and Fitzwater 11. Continental had only 14 turnovers while Defiance registered 26 turnovers. The Lady Pirates have a long break – their next appearance will be the Ayersville Holiday Tournaments on December 27 and 28.
