The Hilltop Lady Cadets outscored the Lady Pirates (5-4) by 14 over the last 3 quarters to secure a 50-41 Ayersville Holiday Consolation bracket victory. The Pirates jumped out to a 13-8 lead after 1 but could not maintain that momentum. Leading the way for the Pirates was Erica Fitzwater with 13 points and Paige Ordway with 10. Paige Ordway was chosen to the all tournament team. Leipsic won the championship over host Ayersville.
The Lady Pirates are back in action on Friday night at Miller City.
