The Continental Lady Pirates played two away games this week and brought home two victories. Tuesday’s 46-39 win over Columbus Grove saw Paige Ordway just missing a triple-double with 23 points, eight rebounds, and eleven steals. Lady Pirates stats were: Fitzwater – 2, Scott – 7, Quigley – 2, Zachrich – 8, Kindilien – 4, and Ordway – 23. Columbus Grove won the JV game, 39-18.
Thursday’s game at Tinora ended in a 48-33 victory for the Lady Pirates. Leading scorers were Paige Ordway with 12 and Sloane Zachrich with 10. Other stats were: Geckle – 5, Fitzwater – 7, Scott – 9, Quigley – 3, S. Zachrich – 10, Ordway – 12, Kindilien – 2. Rebounds: Continental – 21, Tinora – 36. Turnovers: Continental – 14, Tinora – 25. Tinora JV won 32-22.
