Several events on May 1 and 2 that everyone is invited to:
Wednesday, May 1, 11:30 – 1pm: Christ UM Church’s monthly community lunch. The menu is pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, assorted salads and desserts. Cost is by donation and all proceeds go to the local food pantry.
Wednesday, May 1, 6:00 – 8:30pm: Dupont Church of the Brethren’s Spring Carnival. Fun, fellowship, games, prizes, hot dogs, hamburgers and more! Everyone is invited to join them!
Thursday, May 2 at noon: Our community will be observing the National Day of Prayer. Local pastors will lead the service and the Continental Elementary Show Choir will provide the music. Bring your lawn chair, the service will be held in front of the Continental Town Hall and will be moved inside if it rains. All are invited!
