The View in the Country This Morning, March 1

If you were up to see the sunrise this morning, it was quite the show! The eastern sky was washed in pink and our pond was pink too. This was the view from our kitchen window. It all brought a couple of old sayings to mind – “March – in like a lion and out like a lamb” or “Red sky at night, sailors delight; red sky at morning, sailors warning”. With freezing rain and snow in the forecast for today, both sayings seemed to apply.
